Sitting tight and snuggled by his taco suit, seven-time NBA champion Robert Horry made some pretty bold claims about how he should have won 10 rings if not for Manu Ginobili.

“Let me just say this: You got yours because, if Manu Ginobili would have did the things he was supposed to do, I would have had like 10 championships,” Horry courageously stated on ESPN's The Jump, as transcribed by For The Win.

Things escalated quickly after Horry's claim, turning the faces of future Hall of Famer Paul Pierce and former Spur Stephen Jackson sour as they shook in disbelief.

And if that wasn’t enough, the former NBA champion had a more daring statement, saying that Hakeem “The Dream” Olajuwon was 20 times better than Tim Duncan, even putting up The Dream’s work ethic over The Big Fundamental's. Even the show’s host, Rachel Nichols, could not believe what they were hearing.

Going back to Ginobili, there's no questioning his importance to the Spurs' extended run of success, which only makes Horry's statement even more baffling. It's actually fair to say that without him, Horry would not have won titles in San Antonio.
