The Houston Rockets have joined the ranks of most other teams around the NBA landscape that have signed jersey sponsorship deals. According to the team, ROKiT Phones will serve as the team's first-ever jersey sponsor.
Like all other teams who have signed a sponsorship deal, the Rockets will wear the ROKiT patch on the upper-left shoulder portion of their jerseys.
“We were patient in deciding on our inaugural jersey partner and are thrilled to select ROKiT, a company which shares our commitment to excellence both on and off the court,” said Rockets Chief Executive Officer Tad Brown. “We have high expectations heading into this season and look forward to introducing our fans to the quality products and high level of service that ROKiT offers.”
ROKiT will partner with the Rockets on a wide range of community outreach efforts throughout this season, including those that focus on programs for military veterans, such as Hoops for Troops. Furthermore, three lounges inside the Toyota Center will be renamed.

The Rockets will kick off their 2018-19 regular-season campaign on Wednesday with a matchup against the New Orleans Pelicans. Tip-off inside the Toyota Center is set for 8:00 p.m. ET with ESPN having live broadcast coverage.
