The Houston Rockets had yet another dominant win last night as they blew out the Los Angeles Lakers at Staples Center, 118-95. It was the Western Conference-leading Rockets' seventh win in a row.

After the big win, Laurel D’Antoni, Rockets coach Mike D’Antoni’s wife, was asked how it feels to be back in L.A. In response, she had a nicely veiled shot at the Lakers, particularly team president Earvin “Magic” Johnson.

Mrs. D’Antoni’s “happy days” comment was in reference to Johnson’s overly enthusiastic tweet way back in 2014 celebrating the fact that D’Antoni had resigned from his post as the Lakers' head coach after a disappointing two-year stint with the team.

Johnson was not yet the president of the organization when he sent out that tweet, but it was still notable that he took such joy out of D’Antoni’s exit. Mrs. D'Antoni certainly still remembers his words quite well.

After taking a few years off, D’Antoni returned to coaching with the Houston Rockets and promptly won his second Coach of the Year award last season.

But even though some time has passed since the D'Antoni's disappointing time in L.A., and they have since found a home and very successful situation in Houston, Laurel doesn't seem ready to forgive and forget what Magic said just yet.
