Some possibly leaked details regarding the upcoming character banners that will be featured for the version 2.6 update of Genshin Impact have suggested that Venti, the Anemo Archon of Mondstadt, will be made available alongside the newest Hydro swordsman, Ayato in a dual character banner wish event.

While the exact details regarding the banner have been scarce, a prominent member and leaker within the Genshin Impact community, Lumie, has posted on their Twitter page with a picture of Ayato with Venti side by side, and other leakers within the Genshin Impact community attempting to confirm the banner.

While there may not be a direct confirmation regarding the upcoming character banners, many users have pointed out that Venti is long overdue for a rerun, as Venti's previous rerun banner was featured in version 1.4, meaning that he has not appeared in a character banner event since March 17th, 2021, which will be over a year ago. Regardless, many people have been anticipating Venti's return for a long time now, and this news would fit nicely with all the other Archon characters that have already received a banner rerun within the last few months.

Rumored leaks aside, the possibility of Venti's return is quite possible from a logical standpoint, as Venti's rerun in version 1.4 also featured the “Windblume Festival”, which was very much dedicated to Venti and the spirit of the Barbatos, the God of Freedom.

Other details regarding rumored leaks also suggest that Ayaka, the Cyro swordswoman, and Kazuha, the Ameno swordsman, will have a character banner rerun as the second half of the update, further aligning characters that have not received a character wish event in a very long time.

A version 2.6 live stream should be expected within the new week or so in order to confirm if these leaks are true or not, so Genshin Impact players should keep their eyes peeled.
