Now with the Oklahoma City Thunder’s season over, Russell Westbrook has more time to relax and enjoy his extended vacation.
The MVP finalist recently took to his Snapchat account where he shared a video of him acting like a normal fan while watching a concert. He was even singing along during Grammy Award winning singer and songwriter John Legend's performance while singing one of his hits, “Ordinary People.” Westbrook also showed that he was watching with his wife, Nina Earl, who recently gave birth to their first child earlier this month.
His post shows that he has moved on past the early exit he and his team suffered at the hands of the Houston Rockets in this year’s playoffs. It also proves that he has a softer side, which is way different from how he is inside the court, always intense and ready to compete against their opponents.
The Oklahoma City faithful can see this as a good sign for their franchise player, as he is making the most of the summer break. Once training camp starts, it can be expected that Westbrook will be fresh and focused once again on winning, and leading the Thunder to more success next season.
