The New Orleans Saints seem to always have a trick up their sleeve with their offense. From the utilization of their running backs to finding ways to get every receiver the ball, they have a plan for everyone. And even their backup quarterback, Taysom Hill, gets involved in the action.

There aren't too many teams that will use their backup as excessively as the Saints use Hill. However, there aren't too many like him. As shown in the Thanksgiving night game against the Atlanta Falcons, the Brigham Young product is lethal in every aspect of the game. Whether it be running the ball, catching the ball, or playing on special teams, they're trying to get Hill involved on every play.

He came away with two rushes for 33 yards and one rushing touchdown, two catches for 12 yards and a receiving touchdown, and one blocked punt in last night's game. And head coach Sean Payton believes he should get some more involvement.

“While he’s developing as a quarterback, there’s a lot of places he’s playing. We probably need to keep getting him the ball even more.”

It's a bizarre sight to see a player having success as a rusher and receiver and still be listed as a quarterback. Especially with how he now has more offensive touchdowns (seven) through those means than career passing completions (five).

He should continue this production as he develops more as a passer while Drew Brees is still playing in the league. However, don't be surprised if they still use him in this manner when he becomes the new successor in New Orleans.
