New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara is having one hell of a Christmas on the gridiron. Through the first half alone, Kamara already has three rushing TD's.
He got things started on the right foot from the get-go, finding a break in the Vikings defense en route to a 40-yard TD run just minutes into the first quarter. After Minnesota tied it up at seven, Kamara responded with a one-yard TD run to give the Saints the lead.
With just seconds remaining in the first half, he was at it again with a five-yard run into the house. With the Saints up 24-14 at halftime, Kamara is on track to collect six touchdowns in this game. He's already rushed for 96 yards on 12 carries as his team looks to clinch the NFC South with a victory.
As for Minnesota, this is a must-win game if they want to keep their playoff hopes alive.
Kamara now has 13 rushing TD's this season and isn't far off the 1,000-yard mark with one more half and another game to go. The New Orleans running back has also grabbed five receiving touchdowns this year, taking his total to 18 on the season.
With Drew Brees back at QB as well, the Saints will be one to watch as the postseason approaches.
