The San Francisco 49ers are set to take on the Atlanta Falcons in Week 15. San Francisco comes into this one 7-6 on the season while Atlanta comes in at 6-7. Although there is only a one-game difference between the two teams, the 49ers have been playing much better football and are a much more talented team than the Falcons.
The 49ers still have a great shot at the playoffs but that's going to require them to have to win their next four games. This is probably the easiest remaining game left on their schedule besides their game against the Houston Texans. If they want to make the playoffs, they need to take care of business against teams that are worse than them, which they have failed to do at points throughout the season. They're coming off an impressive 26-23 victory against a good Cincinnati Bengals team, the 49ers' confidence should be high. In order for them to stay in the playoff race, they're going to have to replicate what they did a week ago and beat the Falcons. Let's take a look at four bold predictions for the 49ers-Falcons game.

49ers Week 15 Predictions
4. San Francisco understand the assignment
San Francisco understands that if they want to make the playoffs, they need to win their next four games. An 11-win team should find a way into the playoffs and that would probably be via the wild card due to the NFC West having teams with already 10 and nine wins. It's not going to be easy for the 49ers to win their next four games, but they do have two easy games on the schedule and they have to take advantage of both of those.
This is a Falcons team who although does have six wins, should probably be more like a three-win team. They simply aren't a good football team and San Francisco understands that. They know what they have to do to make the playoffs, so expect them to come out firing on all cylinders and take care of business.
3. George Kittle
In the win against the Cincinnati Bengals, George Kittle was playing at the level that everybody expects him to. He had 15 total targets with 13 receptions for 151 yards and a touchdown. The week before that against the Seattle Seahawks, he finished with 181 yards on only nine receptions for two touchdowns. He's been playing his best football the past two weeks and that's going to continue as he goes up against a Falcons' defense who isn't that good.
Kittle is going to have another big game where he's going to have over 100 receiving yards for one or two touchdowns.
2. The game is never close
San Francisco has been playing some of their best football as of late. They have won four out of their last five contests and have beaten teams much better than the Falcons. That's not going to change on Sunday as they're going to take care of business and beat this Falcons team with ease. The game is never going to be particularly close as the 49ers are simply just a better football team than the Falcons are and that's going to show.
1. 49ers win 34-10
Everything is going to be clicking for this 49ers team and that's going to lead them to win by three or more touchdowns. They're going to come out and understand that if they want to make the playoffs, they need to win this game. With the way that they have been playing recently, and coming off a big win against a good Bengals team, the team's confidence is high. That's going to carry over against the Falcons. They're going to win this game 34-10 and move to 8-6 on the season.
