Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Jake Browning was all business after leading his team to a thrilling 34-31 overtime win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Monday Night Football. While it may have been his first career NFL win, it wasn't his first time at the rodeo.

When asked if he was emotional after the game, Browning replied: “Surprisingly, no,” according to a social media post from The Athletic's Paul Dehner Jr. “I haven't played a lot of NFL football, but it's not like I'm not used to winning,” added Browning. “I've won a lot of football games in my life.”

Starting in place of the injured Joe Burrow, Browning threw for over 350 yards and one touchdown in the win.

Browning, a native of Folsom, California, spent three college seasons as the quarterback at Washington from 2015 to 2018. He compiled a 39-15 record passing for 12,296 yards in 54 starts, including 94 touchdowns. His career passing rating with the Huskies was an impressive 150.5.

While the win was no big deal for Browning, Bengals' head coach Zac Taylor praised his backup quarterback postgame.

“Awesome. Outstanding,” said Taylor. “He had a great week of practice. I thought Thursday was outstanding, and that's really our big day, third down day. I felt really good coming out this week, getting ready for this game. He just lit the world on fire. just really proud of Jake and the job he did, and the guys rallying around him making plays for him, protecting him, run game getting going. It all helped Jake. Really proud of the team win, but really proud of Jake. In his second career start to come out here on Monday Night Football to do what he did is prety cool.”
