Quinton Dunbar was recently placed on the Commissioner's Exempt List due to his alleged involvement in a robbery incident with fellow NFL player Deandre Baker. But it appears the Seattle Seahawks will get him back sooner than expected. According to the NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, the NFL has removed Dunbar from the Commissioner's Exempt List on Saturday.

Earlier this offseason, Dunbar and Baker were reported to have committed robbery with firearms at a party. Both of them were given arrest warrants until they turned themselves in to the police. Within the reports, both of them allegedly stole watches and money from the attendees of the party.

And on Friday, it was revealed that Baker was going to be charged with four counts of robbery with a firearm. On the other hand, Dunbar was found innocent after insufficient evidence was found against him in the case. As a result, while Baker awaits his future in the NFL, Dunbar is able to return to the Seahawks.

Back in March, Seattle acquired the former Washington corner in a trade with the Washington Football Team in exchange for a fifth-round pick. Dunbar spent his first five seasons in Washington, totaling nine interceptions and 35 pass breakups in that span.

When the Seahawks landed Dunbar via trade, they were hoping to add someone that could provide some assurance for their secondary. Seeing that he can rejoin the team now, Seattle will get a chance to see their new-look secondary of Dunbar, Quandre Diggs, Jamal Adams, and Shaquill Griffin for the 2020 season.
