The NFL schedule release took place on Wednesday night, and we now know what the Seattle Seahawks will endure during the regular season. Seattle is looking to make a run to the postseason, and Seahawks fans are eager for the season to start now that the schedule is out. However, there is one stretch of the schedule that is going to be extremely difficult for the Seahawks. If they are going to have success this season, they will need to be ready to go for said stretch.

Weeks six through 11 are going to be mighty difficult for Seahawks in the 2024 season. The good news for Seattle is that they will have some time to get ready for this daunting stretch. It would be a lot worse if this was right at the beginning of the season. Still, the Seahawks are certainly going to be put to the test during this run, and they are going to have to come ready to play.

One thing that is difficult for the Seahawks is that every team in their division should be good this season. The worst team last year was the Arizona Cardinals, but the Cardinals are expected to be better this year. Then they have to deal with the San Francisco 49ers and the Los Angeles Rams, two teams that made it to the playoffs last season. This division is not going to be easy.

The first game of that daunting stretch is in week six against the 49ers at home. The 49ers won the NFC and made it to the Super Bowl last season. San Francisco had a good chance to win that game over the Kansas City Chiefs, but they lost in overtime. The 49ers are once again going to be one of the best teams in the NFL.

After that, the Seahawks have a tricky road game against the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons are the only team that Seattle plays during this stretch that did not make the playoffs last year. Still, Atlanta is expected to be solid, and this game is going to be on the road. It's not going to be an easy game by any means.

Then, the Seahawks will be back at home and they will be hosting the Buffalo Bills. The Bills nearly knocked off the Super Bowl champion Chiefs in the playoffs last year, but they came up a little bit short. Still, they won their division and went to the postseason. They should be very good again this season.

Another playoff team will be coming to Seattle the very next week as the Seahawks will be taking on the Rams. The Rams got into the postseason as a wild card team last year and they are hoping to get back to the playoffs again this season. Los Angeles is going to have a solid team, and this will be another difficult matchup for the Seahawks.

The Seahawks have a bye week after playing the Rams, and then they will take on the 49ers for the second time, and this game will be on the road. Playing them at home to start this stretch is going to be tough, and going on the road to play them to end it is going to be even more difficult. All in all, this stretch is going to be incredibly challenging for Seattle.

ClutchPoints predicted all 17 regular season games for every NFL team recently, and this was certainly the most difficult stretch for Seattle. In those five games, there was only one win predicted. Here are predictions for all five of those contests.

Week 6 vs. San Francisco 49ers

The Seahawks will be back at home in Seattle in week six to take on the defending NFC champs. The 49ers are once again going to be extremely good, and the Seahawks aren't quite going to be on their level. They will suffer a loss in this one. LOSS.

Week 7 at Atlanta Falcons

Seattle will travel in week seven to Atlanta to play the Falcons, who will be an intriguing team to watch. Will the vet Kirk Cousins be their QB, or will rookie Michael Penix Jr. win the job? Who knows, but expect them to find a way to knock off the Seahawks. LOSS.

Week 8 vs. Buffalo Bills

Josh Allen and the Bills are coming to Seattle in week eight, and this will be a tough matchup for the Seahawks. The Bills should be a playoff team once again, and they are going to leave Seattle with a victory. LOSS.

Week 9 vs. Los Angeles Rams

The Seahawks will host the Rams in week nine, another team that made it to the playoffs last season. They will obviously play twice as these teams are in the same division, and Seattle will take round one at home. WIN.

Week 11 at San Francisco 49ers

The Seahawks aren't going to knock off the 49ers at home, and they aren't going to be able to do it on the road either. San Francisco will take care of business in week 11 and earn a season sweep of the Seahawks. LOSS.

That could end up being a frustrating time for the Seahawks. Obviously, this team wants to make it to the playoffs this season, and winning their division with one of the best teams in football will be very hard. Getting into the postseason as a wild card team is going to be tough too because of this schedule.

Because of this stretch, the Seahawks will have to take advantage of the games that they are supposed to win. They need to take care of business against lesser teams, and they need to find a way to steal a couple against these playoff contenders.
