Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has released a docu-series on Youtube that shows Day One of his three-day camp he hosted this summer for some of his teammates and named it, “Summer Camp.”

The video shows Wilson giving a pep talk to the guys, playing some hoops, and of most importantly working on the football field trying to get better for the upcoming season. Two more episodes will be released on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week.

The following description of the video was posted by Wilson on Youtube:

“I got together with some of my teammates to train and get ready for training camp. I wanted to have an opportunity to get to know these guys on a more personal level, and for them to get to know me. We had rookies like DK Metcalf, Gary Jennings, and Jazz Ferguson, all the way to vets like Nick Vannett, CJ Prosise, and Ed Dickson. We trained, watched film, and of course got into some friendly hoops around the world competition. John Ursua and I went 14-0, and that’s all I’m gonna say about that. Day one of #SummerCamp definitely set the bar high for the rest of the weekend!”

Wilson has always been a strong leader for the Seahawks but it seems this offseason he has gotten the rest of his teammates even more involved in offseason workouts.

The Seahawks wide receiver core is young this season so Wilson is using the downtime in the offseason to get on the same page as him. It is still to be seen how it will translate to the field but all the work together has to make Seahawks fans excited.
