New England Patriots quarterback Cam Newton was able to take a brief lead over the Seattle Seahawks in the second quarter. However, quarterback Russell Wilson wasted no time evening the score once again. Wilson found wide receiver DK Metcalf for a 54-yard bomb to tie the game at 14, via NFL Twitter:

Wilson and the Seahawks have done a solid job of countering each score from New England with one of their own. He was able to get some redemption for himself by throwing a touchdown pass to wide receiver Tyler Lockett after a pick-six on the opening drive.

Metcalf has now put together yet another productive outing after hauling in four receptions for 95 yards and a touchdown in the season opener. His emergence as a bonafide complementary option opposite of Lockett has now given Wilson one of the most talented receiver tandems in the NFL to begin the 2020 campaign with the Seahawks.
