As a gift to his daughter, Amirah, on her 16th birthday, the Hall of Famer and his wife spent nearly $1 million to make it very special, according to TMZ Sports. It was also reported that they even gave her a brand new Mercedes Benz G-Wagen on top of the lavish party.
“The O'Neals threw Amirah — aka Mimi — an EPIC 16th birthday party Saturday night in L.A. that was fit for royalty — 'cause the proud parents spent nearly a million dollars on the whole shebang. Yep, you read that right … $1,000,000. “
“Sources close to the family tell TMZ Sports that Shaq and Shaunie rented out out the entire rooftop area of the W Hotel in Hollywood, and they gifted Mimi a brand new Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen.”
The entertainment was also top-notch, as rapper and actor YG performed during the celebration, where he sang eight songs, including his hit singles. O’Neal then shared some videos from the party on his Instagram account, to show his followers how much fun they had on the night.

Shaquille O'Neal's life still revolves around basketball until this day, as he is currently a co-host of TNT's Inside the NBA where he provides his expert analysis of games.
