On Sunday, the Philadelphia 76ers suffered a tough home loss to the Toronto Raptors. The 101-96 defeat left the second round match-up tied at two games apiece headed back to Toronto. The Sixers were likely in need of a morale boost before a pivotal Game 5 on Tuesday.

Enter young point guard Ben Simmons. The sophomore surprised his teammates with a gift in the locker room prior to Tuesday's game.

He left each of his teammates a set of Beats by Dre PowerBeats Pro. The gift didn't come cheap for Simmons – the wireless headphones retail for $250 a pair!

Simmons's decision to go out of his way for his teammates – many of which make significantly higher salaries than he does – shows that the 22-year-old is already a clubhouse leader. The 2016 first overall pick is beginning to blossom on the court, and if he is already respected as a team leader, he could become a franchise cornerstone for the Sixers.

Simmons earned the Rookie of the Year award for the 2017-18 season, and earned his first All-Star appearance this season. He averaged 16.9 points, 8.8 rebounds and 7.7 assists while shooting 56.3%. This makes him one of the most versatile and efficient point guards in the game.

However, Simmons has struggled a bit in his second postseason. He is averaging just 14.0 points, 6.9 rebounds and 6.3 assists. He will need to step it up on the court if the Sixers are going to go deep into the playoffs.

Philadelphia will take on the Raptors at 8:00 P.M. EST on Tuesday night.
