Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid has been listed as questionable for the Sixers' game against the Atlanta Hawks on Monday.

Embiid already missed the Sixers' game against the Detroit Pistons on Saturday. Fortunately, Philly's other bigs stepped up to help the team get a 117-111 win and start 2-0 for the season. Tobias Harris finished with 29 points and seven rebounds while Al Horford had 23 points, nine boards, and five assists.

However, Embiid's presence will definitely be needed against the Hawks, who also has a 2-0 record. Led by Trae Young and John Collins, Atlanta has proven that it can light up the scoreboard as they have averaged 110 points over the last two games. Embiid's defense will certainly make a difference.

The Sixers are aspiring to compete for a championship this season, but if Embiid can't stay healthy, they might find it hard to keep up with the best teams in the East, particularly the Milwaukee Bucks, who are also out to prove that last season was no fluke.

Still, the Sixers can rack up wins without Embiid. Harris, Horford, Ben Simmons, and Josh Richardson can all get hot on the offensive end, but without Embiid, their defense wouldn't be as imposing as it is with him on the floor.
