Is nautical nonsense something you wish on the basketball court? Then the Delaware 87ers – the Philadelphia 76ers’ G League affiliate team – have that covered. Darren Rovell of ESPN earlier revealed the type of threads the 87ers are going to wear when they go up against the Erie Bayhawks on Wednesday, and the aesthetics of their uniforms are, let’s just say, would make some people drop on the floor and flop like fish.

The 87ers are currently sitting at the Bikini Bottom of the G League Southeast Division with a 6-14 record, but it still is going to be fun watching a bunch of adult men running up and down the court wearing something a toddler would at a picnic.
And because the 87ers’ management is not as greedy as Mr. Krabs, ticket sales for Wednesday’s game would go to CHILD, Inc., according to the 87ers’ Twitter page. CHILD, Inc. is a non-profit organization that helps children of financially challenged families get education and health assistance.

Hopefully for the 87ers, their players would play against the Bayhawks with the same gusto as that of Spongebob Squarepants when he is preparing those tasty Krabby Patties.
