Portland Trail Blazers big man Jusuf Nurkic is known for running his mouth a bit on the court, and on Saturday afternoon, Nurkic was letting the Philadelphia 76ers have it as his Blazers were thumping them.

Sixers star Ben Simmons grew tired of Nurkic's trash talking during the game, and in between free throws, he made his feelings known:

Well, first of all, Nurkic is definitely not what Simmons called him. On the season, Nurkic is averaging 15.2 points, 10.2 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.5 blocks and one steal over 27.3 minutes per game while shooting 50.5 percent from the floor and 75.3 percent from the free-throw line.

Second, Simmons just seems a bit frustrated because Nurkic had been giving it to his team all afternoon.

With the Sixers playing without Joel Embiid, who is out with a sore knee, the Sixers don't really have much of an answer for bruising bigs like Nurkic, as outside of Boban Marjanovic, the 76ers don't exactly have much depth up front.

Nurkic is now in his fifth season. He was originally drafted by the Chicago Bulls back in 2014 but was immediately traded to the Denver Nuggets, where he played two-and-a-half seasons before being dealt to Portland due to knee issues and the emergence of Nikola Jokic.

Since arriving with the Blazers midway through the 2016-17 campaign, Nurkic has taken his game to the next level and is now one of the better centers in the league.

The one thing missing from Nurkic's game is a three-point shot, but he is so good in the post and such a good passer that it mitigates is lack of a perimeter shot.
