There have been a lot of players that have come and gone during the Philadelphia 76ers rebuild when Joel Embiid kept telling everyone to “Trust The Process.” The one constant during that time though was Sixers head coach Brett Brown.

In each of his first four seasons coaching the 76ers he never had above 28 wins, but the front office stuck by them because they saw something special building.

The process has finally paid off for the 76ers. Not only do they have a great young core that is going to be good for years to come, but they have also made to the playoffs for the first time in a long while, even eliminating the Miami Heat in the first round.

After the game during his postgame speech, Brett Brown let JJ Redick ring the victory bell, and Redick did it in honor of Brown winning his first playoff series.

After the bell was rung the players came around their coach and doused him with some cold drinks that probably felt refreshing after a hard-fought series.

Brown has been known as a players coach and just by watching this video, it's clear how much the players have not only bought into his team-first system, but also how much they enjoy working for their coach.

For the Sixers, they hope that there are many dousings of their head coach coming in the near future. They will now move on to the second round of the playoffs and will play the winner of the series between the Boston Celtics and the Milwaukee Bucks.
