NBA rivalries are simply the best, especially when two players are going at each other — and it's hard to find a better personal rivalry in the NBA today than the one developing between Oklahoma City Thunder guard and reigning league MVP Russell Westbrook and Philadelphia 76ers big man Joel Embiid.

Embiid, a budding superstar for the Sixers, is known for running his mouth on the court and making savage posts on his opponents' behalf on social media. On the other hand, Westbrook is a no-nonsense grimacing point guard with an attitude as big as the state of Texas.

In their previous two matchups, Embiid and Westbrook have taken shots at each other. In no surprise, this didn't change in the 2018 All-Star game, in which both players are on different teams.  In one play, Embiid drained a deep 3-pointer in Westbrook's face, then he blocked Westbrook's shot on the other end.

After being embarrassed on both plays, even Russell Westbrook couldn't say anything. Joel Embiid has been itching to get Westbrook back since the Thunder defeated the Sixers in their previous matchup.

Although the win would have been nice, a difficult shot and a block on the other end is definitely nice for Embiid.

It's unclear if Embiid will chronicle these exploits on Twitter like he usually does. Regardless of if he does, Westbrook is probably plotting a way to get “The Process” back. Only time will tell what will happen though, especially since the game isn't over yet.

Westbrook and Embiid still have some time to put on a show for their fans. While the Sixers and the Thunder are not going to meet anymore in this regular season, the two players will surely cross paths plenty of times in the coming years.
