Plenty of Philadelphia 76ers fans are high on Matisse Thybulle as he provides energy on both ends of the floor. He proved his value once again as he managed to put an exclamation point on the block he made over Zach LaVine.
The rookie guard managed was beaten by LaVine as he slashed his way to the rim for a monstrous slam. Ben Simmons half-heartedly tried stopping him before allowing him to take off. However, that was the moment when Matisse Thybulle showed off his defensive chops to the rest of the league with an emphatic rejection.
The Sixers were in no way going to lose the match against a Bulls team that doesn't know what they're doing. Moreover, Thybulle put up a solid performance to get the win. The Washington standout finished with seven points, four rebounds, two assists, two steals, and two blocks.
The Sixers will continue to rely on Thybulle to guard the opponents' best player as he slowly becomes one of the best young defenders in the league.
