During the second quarter of Saturday night's showdown at Wells Fargo Center between the Philadelphia 76ers and the defending-champion Golden State Warriors, a dirty joke clearly went over the heads of NBC Sports Bay Area announcers Jim Barnett and Bob Fitzgerald.
Barnett, who has been a television analyst with the Warriors for 32 years, did not seem to understand why Sixers star center Joel Embiid hilariously told members of the Philadelphia staff an exact percentage of how good of shape he is in right now.
“I talked to somebody from their staff and they said right now he's only at 69 percent of his potential being in shape,” Barnett said. “I don't know how they exactly expressed it, but he's at a 69 percent level. So he's not at 100 percent in shape yet. How about that?”
One Twitter user by the name of Richard Yannow described the situation perfectly by pointing out how serious Barnett was throughout his commentary of Embiid being at 69 percent.
Jim Barnett just very earnestly twice repeated that the sixers staff thinks Embiid is only 69 percent, and how amazing will he be at 100%?

I guess some of us must have much dirtier minds than others, and Embiid definitely seems to fall into that category with his great sense of humor. However, the Warriors got the last laugh on the night as they stormed back to beat the Sixers 124-116, which included a massive 47-15 run in the third quarter by Golden State.
