Charlotte Hornets center Spencer Hawes has earned himself a nomination on next week’s Shaqtin’ a Fool segment during Sunday night’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Kemba Walker threw a perfect on point pass to Hawes who was already running down the court with no one in his sight.
In this situation, any good coach would tell you to take it up strong with two hands. That assures you the best chance to score without any accidents happening…like missing a dunk.
That's exactly what Hawes set out to do as he went up strong with two hands, but the outcome wasn't favorable. He blew the wide open dunk as the ball bounced off of his head to end the half.
