Dejounte Murray has had a season to remember for the San Antonio Spurs. The 25-year-old is without a doubt the best player for his team and he now has an opportunity to lead the Spurs to the Playoffs ahead of Wednesday's Play-In game against the New Orleans Pelicans.

Murray had such an outstanding season that he was able to surpass two-all time greats in Michael Jordan and Magic Johnson for the only player in NBA history to average at least 20 points, eight rebounds, nine assists, and two steals in a single season (h/t NBA Retweet on Twitter):

Talk about elite company for the Spurs star, right?

Murray can make his 2021-22 season even more memorable with a win against the Pelicans on Wednesday. A victory for the Spurs will set up a win-or-go-home matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday to determine the eighth and final seed in the Western Conference. What will be at stake for that one is an extremely tough first-round matchup against the league-best Phoenix Suns.

It's an undeniably tough road ahead for the Spurs, but with a guy like Murray in the mix, anything's possible.
