San Antonio Spurs guard Dejounte Murray has recently aired out his frustrations on social media. However, his rant goes way beyond the sport of basketball, as the 21-year-old shared how he really feels about people around him trying to leech off of his hard-earned success.

According to Murray, there have been no shortage of people asking for financial support ever since he made it big in the NBA. The 6-foot-5 guard is feeling pretty fed up about it at this point.

As with most NBA players, success is often accompanied with people around them asking (and at times demanding) for hand outs. It's as if players are fully expected to share their profits with everybody, and are automatically labelled as selfish and ungrateful should they refuse to do so.

There is definitely nothing wrong with sharing one's blessings. In fact, this has to be the norm considering these players take home millions of dollars on a year-to-year basis. However, it becomes problematic when people become overly dependent on these donations, and end up taking advantage of the situation.

Murray appears to have had it with these leeches. He recounts how growing up as a young man, he never had the privilege of asking for help from anybody, and had to do things on his own. He hopes that the people around him take notice of his lecture and learn from his success story.

The recent departure of Tony Parker appears to have paved the way for Murray to eventually take the reigns of the Spurs back court. Currently still on his rookie deal which is set to expire at the end of next season, the Seattle, Washington native should be looking at a very hefty payday within the next couple of years.
