Kevin Garnett used to have some legendary battles with San Antonio Spurs big man Tim Duncan back in the day.

Garnett and Duncan are widely considered two of the best power forwards in NBA history. KG was aggressive and loud with his trash talking, while Duncan was quiet and subtle.

Garnett was on the latest episode of the All The Smoke Podcast with Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson, and The Big Ticket talked about how Duncan used to trash talk and get on his nerves.

In 1,392 games with the Spurs, Duncan averaged 19.0 points, 10.8 rebounds and 3.0 assists while shooting 50.6 percent from the field. The legendary forward is currently an assistant coach with the Spurs.

Duncan won five rings, two regular-season MVP awards and three Finals MVPs with San Antonio. Both he and Garnett were named Hall of Fame Finalists this past weekend in Chicago.

This year's Spurs could use some help from Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett. They are currently in danger of missing the playoffs for the first time in what seems like forever.

The Spurs are 23-31 on the season. They are in 10th place in the Western Conference standings and have to turn things around quickly since the West is so rugged.
