San Antonio Spurs guard Lonnie Walker IV has spent most of his time this offseason trying to improve every aspect of his game. After all, he looks to make the leap next season after DeMar DeRozan's departure.

The Spurs are clearly headed into rebuilding mode after trading away DeRozan. However, Walker is not interested in such notions as he sends out a stern warning to all the critics and haters on his social media account.

The Spurs guard has been locked in during the course of the offseason, working out to improve his defense to show his capability of being a two-way player in this league.

Walker is clearly the biggest winner of DeRozan's exit. The Spurs' guard will look to handle the task of scoring as he showed how capable he is of being a three-level scorer.

Per 100 possessions last season, Walker averaged 21.3 points and will certainly look to improve those numbers now that DeRozan is gone. His quickness and elite athleticism will help him soar to greater heights.

San Antonio will likely let the young guys take over next season since they were clearly focused on them after not making any big-name signings during the offseason despite their $50 million cap space.

It will be interesting how the Spurs' season will go as they continue to develop Keldon Johnson, Dejounte Murray and Lonnie Walker IV.
