Free agent shooting guard Marco Belinelli has agreed to a two-year, $12 million deal with the San Antonio Spurs, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

The Italian marksman put his best season together after being acquired by the Philadelphia 76ers following a buyout with the Atlanta Hawks, giving this young team a much-needed source of 3-point shooting and veteran savvy.

The 11-year veteran commanded a decent price tag after his work last season, posting a career-high 13.6 points per game during his 28 games with the Sixers.

Belinelli played for the Spurs from 2013-15, which yielded two of his best shooting seasons from the perimeter (career-high 43 percent in 2013-14).

The Spurs savvily locked down a dire need for a wing shooter by revisiting familiar faces, now reuniting with the 6-foot-5 sniper and staying true to their international flavor, putting Italy on the map in one of the most internationally-diverse rosters in the league.

Belinelli will have a direct line to playing time, likely backing up Danny Green at shooting guard, while playing some small forward in some of Gregg Popovich's smaller lineups. This is obviously a good deal for both sides, as they have a previous working relationship with each other.

Kawhi Leonard stuff to the side, obviously.
