The Sacramento Kings regressed after winning 39 games in 2019, and now, according to reports, Buddy Hield wants out; the Kings may have another rebuild on their hands. The one real bright spot on the team has been 22-year-old guard De'Aaron Fox, who could be worth a lot on the trade market if the Kings decided to go in that direction.

On the daily Locked On Kings Podcast, host Matt George asks if there are any scenarios where the Kings should consider trading De'Aaron Fox in the near future.

Matt George: Are there any realistic scenarios where the Kings should trade De'Aaron Fox? No, and that's not just because I overvalue De'Aaron Fox, which I admit, I do overvalue De'Aaron Fox because I love De'Aaron Fox and I think he's a superstar and a potential champion here in Sacramento, but because what are you accomplishing by getting rid of him? If you're moving on from De'Aaron Fox to get a superstar in return? Sorry, it's probably not going to happen. Name a superstar right now that you think the Kings could get, not only to bring to Sacramento, but keep in Sacramento, for Fox…

I know some of you might be even thinking Russell Westbrook, that's a name I'm sure that's been floated out there in conversation before, I've heard it and seen it on social media. No, no, no, no, no, no. You have control over De'Aaron Fox and he wants to be here. He's a young star who hasn't even sniffed his prime yet. Say you want to go the other route and try and trade Fox for a plethora of draft picks to completely hit the reset button. Unless you're absolutely getting a number one overall pick with a consensus star in a future draft for him, I'm not interested, and the likelihood of that happening to begin with is very low. So, I'm sticking with Fox.
