After securing a win over the Baltimore Ravens, Pittsburgh Steelers fans likely went into the Las Vegas Raiders – Los Angeles Chargers match with high hopes. Their season was bound to continue, as the only thing preventing them from making the playoffs is a tie between those two teams.

Instead, Steelers fans are currently losing their minds, as the Chargers converted clutch fourth down after clutch fourth down to tie the game and send it to overtime. The seemingly impossible scenario is starting to become real, and it haunts all of Pittsburgh, including it's players.

When the Raiders went up by 15 points in the fourth quarter, Steelers star defensive tackle Cam Heyward jokingly tweeted that there were a lot more fans turning into mathematicians.

As the Chargers started clawing back into the game, though, the Steelers DT started to grow more and more nervous by the minute.

Finally, when Justin Herbert led a two-minute drive to tie the game late in the fourth quarter, Steelers wide receiver Chase Claypool was simply… flabbergasted.

This has been a crazy season for the NFL, with improbable result after improbable result every week. The Steelers were part of this insane season, as they tied to the then-winless Lions one week.

It seemed a bit dangerous in overtime too. The Raiders and Chargers traded field goals to start the extra period, and the score remained tied heading into the two-minute warning. However, much to the delight of the Steelers, Daniel Carlson showed up to save the Raiders again, scoring the game-winning field goal to save Big Ben's season.

The Steelers players were, obviously, ecstatic.
