By this point, everyone knows what happened between Antonio Brown and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Now on the Oakland Raiders, it's safe to say Brown isn't a big fan of the Steelers anymore.

He has called out Ben Roethlisberger and JuJu Smith-Schuster on multiple occasions in fact.

That hasn't stopped Smith-Schuster from trying to keep the peace though. According to a report shared by Josh Alper of ProFootballTalk.com, quoting a piece from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Smith-Schuster is “super excited” to see how Brown and his new team perform this year.

“It’s very interesting. Hard Knocks and the Raiders. Everyone is curious how he’s going to do and how he’s going to perform. Honestly, I think he is a great player. I think Derek Carr is a good quarterback. . . .  I’ll be super excited to see what he does, what the team does. Hard Knocks should be interesting to watch.”

This isn't some sarcastic comment either. One thing that is apparent when it comes to Smith-Schuster is that he's very genuine. Based on the DMs that Brown tried to mock Smith-Schuster for, he's been a fan of the Oakland wide receiver for a long time.

With that in mind, it's not all that shocking that he's still excited to see what Brown can do. Smith-Schuster appears to be someone that simply loves the game of football. He recognizes that Brown is arguably the best wide receiver in football, so of course he wants to see what he can do in a new situation.

What Brown and the Raiders do this year is left to be seen, it will definitely be entertaining to watch though. He's joining a new environment and the team as a whole should be fun to watch.

The same could be said for Smith-Schuster and the Steelers. He was tied for sixth in the NFL in receptions and was fifth in receiving yards. Now being the clearcut number one will his numbers improve even more with more opportunities, or will his stats drop with opposing defenses focusing on him now?

Either way, 2019 will be an exciting season in the NFL for a number of reasons – even JuJu Smith-Schuster wants to watch.
