The Golden State Warriors dynasty appears over. A roster once filled with stars just trotted out an abomination against the Brooklyn Nets. Not ideal for Stephen Curry.

On the daily Locked On Warriors Podcast, host Wes Goldberg recaps the Warriors season opener against the Nets. Furthermore, he touches on an important conversation about the help that is surrounding Stephen Curry.

Wes Goldberg: Klay Thompson and Draymond Green are injured, and Kevin Durant now plays for the other team but Steph Curry has such little help on the Warriors that it must be jarring for him too. You're looking around and you're asking guys like Andrew Wiggins and Kelly Oubre and Eric Paschall to do the things that Klay Thompson, Kevin Durant and Draymond Green were doing two years ago.

Steph didn't have the best night, 20 points on seven of 21 shooting and two of 10 from three point range. He did have 10 assists in the game, but this was not a normal Steph Curry type of game. The Warriors went out there and missed the first seven three-pointers that they took in the game. At that point, Brooklyn said, we're not even bothering with these other people, we're gonna target Steph Curry, we're not gonna let him do what it is that Steph Curry likes to do, which is run around the three-point line and find holes in the defense to exploit those holes. Most of his shots, Steph said this after the game, came with him as the primary ball-handler. He would have to dribble up and pull up into three point shots and on a lot of those shots, because nobody on Brooklyn was respecting anything that anybody else on the Warriors was doing, came with a hand in his face three hands in his face.
