Warriors coaches and players aren't soon going to forget last year's NBA Finals when they blew a 3-1 lead to the Cavaliers.

Head coach Steve Kerr was recently asked about this past season, in particular the impact Steph Curry's injury in the playoffs may have had on the team.

“We made a few adjustments in terms of play-calling and actions that we tried to run,” Kerr told CSNBayArea.com in a phone interview Tuesday afternoon.

“But there’s only so much of that you can do. It’s still about flow and rhythm and pace. We tried a few different things – and let’s not forget, he was phenomenal in a few games.”

Curry played in just four games through the first two rounds of the playoffs. He played in all 14 of the Western Conference Finals and NBA Finals. His scoring numbers and shooting splits weren't quite on the level of his usual greatness, but then again, he was going against the best competition.

Curry never looked too hurt after coming back, but given how he plays, that potentially would have been hard to see. Even missing a tiny beat could bring Curry down from ungodly levels and closer to the rest of the field.

This isn't an excuse from Kerr, as he also notes the other factors that hindered the Warriors in the NBA Finals. Curry just wasn't at 100 percent in the Finals, as Kerr confirms, but that's pretty common at that point of the season anyway.
