Deandre Ayton is clutch. If you need any proof, then look no further than his  epic game-winning throwdown in Game 2 of the Phoenix Suns-Los Angeles Clippers Western Conference Finals series.

With just less than a second left on the clock and the Suns trailing 103-102, Monty Williams drew up a perfect play for Ayton to get the ball with what  little time left. Off an inbound, Jae Crowder surprised the Clippers with a pass to an attacking Ayton, who caught the ball at the top of the rim before throwing it down.

The Suns needed just 0.2 second of the remaining time to make the play, leaving 0.7 for the Clippers to do the same thing. However, Phoenix held on for the 104-103 victory and the 2-0 lead.

It was a huge win for the Suns, especially as Chris Paul remained out and Devin Booker struggled against Patrick Beverley. While it seemed the Clippers had already tied the series, Ayton pulled off the miracle of a shot to upset Los Angeles fans who visited the Talking Stick Resort Arena just to rally Paul George and Co. Ayton finished the contest with 24 points and 14 boards.

Speaking of George, Deandre Ayton and the Suns would probably want to thank him after he missed two clutch free-throws that would have given the Clippers a three-point lead. Without those misses, Phoenix would be forced to take a 3-pointer instead and would have probably lost.
