Phoenix Suns shooting guard Devin Booker doesn't want people to call him by his first name anymore.

One of the best players in the NBA, Booker took to Twitter to tell his followers that he wants to be called “book” or “dbook.”

This is an interesting turn of events. It's unclear why the Suns star doesn't want to be called “Devin,” but Phoenix fans should listen to their All-Star guard and call him by the right name moving forward.

NBA fans are going to be hearing a lot of Booker and the Suns this season. After general manager James Jones acquired future Hall of Famer Chris Paul from the Oklahoma City Thunder, Phoenix is expected to make the playoffs in 2020-21 with CP3, Booker and former No. 1 overall pick Deandre Ayton leading the way.

The Suns went 8-0 in the bubble games at Walt Disney World, mostly because Devin Booker played like a superstar. He averaged 30.5 points per game and shot 50.3 percent from the field and 31.3 percent from beyond the arc.

Booker also hit a game-winner over the Los Angeles Clippers, cementing his status as one of the most clutch players in the game.

It's going to be fun to watch the Suns play basketball this season, a statement we have not been able to say in a long time. As long as Paul, Booker and Ayton stay healthy, odds are Phoenix will snap its playoff drought.
