Much has been made of Devin Booker's astounding performance on Tuesday, as he led the Phoenix Suns to a surprise victory against one of the top teams in the NBA in the Los Angeles Clippers. For teammate Ricky Rubio, the veteran point guard paid Booker the ultimate compliment by comparing the Suns stud to the late, great Kobe Bryant.

Rubio explained the one similarity he sees in Kobe and Booker:

Booker is not exactly at the level of Kobe Bryant, but in all honesty, Rubio is not wrong here. Booker's footwork is a treat to watch, and it's hard not to agree with Rubio when he says that Booker is somewhat an underrated talent.

Booker's full arsenal was on display against the Clippers, with the 23-year-old finishing with a game-high 35 points on 13-of-25 shooting, along with four rebounds, eight dimes, and just two turnovers in 37 minutes of action. He also sank an extremely difficult fadeaway jumper at the buzzer against no less than Kawhi Leonard and Paul George to win the game for Phoenix. Quite an evening it was for the 6-foot-5 shooting guard.

More importantly, Booker has led the Suns to three straight wins since entering the bubble. They continue to rise in the West and are now just 2.5 games outside the playoff picture in a ruthless Western Conference. With the momentum they have at the moment, it would not be surprising if the Suns make a late push for the final postseason spot out West.
