Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns are serious about bringing a title to the Valley. If that was not clear enough after they defeated Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors on the road Tuesday night, then let this video of some of Phoenix players pumping irons following their season-opening victory.

Even Durant rook a few reps with his teammates, which he probably felt he needed to do following a rather salty night on offense. Durant scored 18 points but he only went 7-for-22 from the field. He also added 10 rebounds with three assists and a block in 37 minutes of work to help the Suns score a 108-104 road victory. Grayson Allen was also among the Suns who chose to lift some weights first before hitting the locker room. Like Durant, he had a bad shooting performance in the Warriors game, as he bricked all his six attempts from the field, including five from behind the arc.

Noticeably absent in the video were Devin Booker and Jusif Nurkic, who both already did the “heavy lifting” for the Suns during the game. Booker went off for 32 points on 13-for-31 shooting from the field while also dishing out eight assists and collecting six rebounds in 37 minutes. In his Suns debut, the Bosnian Beast had a nice double-double of 14 points and 14 rebounds in 28 minutes.

The Suns made a loud statement with their win over Golden State and they could create a louder one Thursday night when they travel to Hollywood to face the 0-1 Los Angeles Lakers, who lost on Tuesday to the Denver Nuggets.
