The Phoenix Suns have brought Jimmer Fredette back to the NBA. According to Fredette on Instagram, he's excited to be there.

Fredette was one of the most electric college basketball players of all time. The guard carried BYU in 2011 thanks to his ridiculous range and scoring abilities. He never really captured that magic in the NBA.

Fredette shot the three extremely well in the NBA (except for one odd year with the New Orleans Pelicans, when he shot 18.8%). However, he didn't really bring anything else to the table.

The good news for Fredette is that with the Suns, he should get some playing time. He will get a chance to showcase exactly what he can do in the NBA.

For now, it's clear he's just happy to be back, and to be getting recognition for all the hard work he's put in. His strong play overseas has been noticed and he's getting another chance.

His stellar college career is why he was the 10th overall pick in the 2011 NBA draft. Now he's back in the NBA, this time with the Suns, and at just 29, he still has plenty of basketball left in him. Hopefully, his second run in the NBA is more like college Jimmer.
