Phoenix Suns owner Robert Sarver could potentially be in some hot water after ESPN's Jordan Schultz reported that the league is preparing to receive a story involving accusations of racism, sexism, and sexual harassment towards Sarver.

The Suns organization have quickly responded and released this statement:

As noted, there is a possibility the NBA could remove Sarver as the Suns' owner, but it's still unknown if these allegations are actually true. Sarver has been in charge of Phoenix since 2004 but hasn't exactly enjoyed the best tenure. The team had a nine-year playoff drought from 2011-2020 before making a run to the NBA Finals last season and he even threatened to relocate the Suns a couple of years back due to the lack of funds for a new arena. Sarver also put out this statement himself:

The NBA is fully able to remove an owner if there is enough concrete evidence. It doesn't happen too often though, with the latest incident occurring in 2014 when LA Clippers owner Donald Sterling was banned after leaked audio with racial remarks.

The Suns owner is clearly livid over the situation but it remains to be seen if he will face any repercussions. Buckle up, this is likely just the start.
