Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant wasn't able to watch the second pre-Olympic exhibition of Team USA, which is why he was just as shocked as everyone else to the nation's loss to Australia.

Morant quickly took to Twitter to ask his followers what happened to Team USA and how did they lose to Australia, 91-83, just a couple of days after Nigeria beat them as well. Sure enough, some of the answers he got blamed the defense and the production of stars like Jayson Tatum, while others credited the performance of Patty Mills who scored 10 of his 22 points to catapult the Boomers to victory.

On a follow-up tweet, the Grizzlies guard just seemed he can't believe the second straight defeat Team USA suffered, simply posting a woozy face emoji along with a tweet about the loss and the 0-2 record Gregg  Popovich and Co. have now.

While it's only an exhibition game and the losses have no bearing to the Olympics at all, it's hard to blame fans and players like Ja Morant for being concerned about the  status of the team. After all, losing one game can be considered a fluke, but losing back-to-back games without some sort of a strong response is a troubling sight to see.

Gregg Popovich and Co. are not hitting the panic button just yet, but with the way things are going, the veteran coach certainly needs to find a solution quickly to give Team USA a boost of confidence before they head to Tokyo for the delayed Olympics.
