The Houston Texans did not do themselves any favors with their embarrassing loss to the Baltimore Ravens. It seems wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins is not downplaying the importance of their pivotal AFC South showdown with the Indianapolis Colts in Week 12.

The Texans gave up their divisional lead to the Colts after losing to the Ravens. According to Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle, Hopkins says this is the week they must take it back:

DeAndre Hopkins ‘This is definitely a must-win game'

Although coaches usually like to take things one game at a time, there is no question that the Texans find themselves in a must-win situation this week. The Colts already own the tiebreaker over them after winning their first matchup in Week 7. They will now need to return the favor if they hope to stay in control of their own playoff destiny.

While a loss to Indianapolis would not take Houston out of the postseason picture heading into the final stretch of the 2019 NFL season, it could have some very serious playoff implications. A win this week would not only help get their confidence back up following their abysmal 41-7 loss to Baltimore but it would also go a long way in potentially helping to secure some kind of home-field advantage.

Fortunately, there is good reason for the Texans to be confident with a passing attack led by Hopkins and quarterback Deshaun Watson.

Watson has already taken notice of how adamant his All-Pro wideout is about getting this team back into the win column after acknowledging his greatness following last week's loss.
