Following a 0-4 start, the Houston Texans fired head coach and general manager Bill O'Brien. While most fans seem pleased with the organization's move, Arizona Cardinals wideout Deandre Hopkins has nothing negative to say about it.

Via Twitter, Hopkins sent out his first tweet since O'Brien's departure from the Texans. To recall, O'Brien was the one responsible for trading Hopkins to the Cardinals this offseason for running back David Johnson, a 2020 second-round pick and a 2021 fourth-round pick.

The transaction was swarmed with a lot of controversies. Several analysts even tagged it as the worst trade in the history of the sport. After all, Hopkins is regarded as one of the best wideouts today and O'Brien essentially traded him for Johnson — a running back who hasn't exactly been stellar with the Texans.

Apart from the wide performance gap between the two players, several critics also pointed out how the trade could negatively affect the Texans' finances. Bill Barnwell of ESPN wrote:

“Johnson would likely be in line to get a one-year deal in the $2 million range if he hit the open market. Instead, his $10.2 million base salary is already guaranteed for 2020, and $2.1 million of his base salary in 2021 guarantees in five days. Throw in $960,000 in per-game roster bonuses and the Texans are on the hook for more than $13 million for Johnson over the next 12 months.”

Be as it may, DeAndre Hopkins seemed to have moved on from the ordeal and holds no grudges against Bill O'Brien. Sure, analysts view the Cardinals as a subpar team, but so far, Hopkins has been making the most out of his stint in Arizona.
