Episodes 5 and 6 of ā€œThe Last Danceā€ seem to prove that this docu-series just keeps getting better and better. The same appears to hold true for next week's episodes, as they are slated to feature one of the ugliest manifestations of Michael Jordan's unmatched competitive spirit ā€” that moment that he punched Steve Kerr in the face during practice.

In the teaser for next Sunday's ā€œThe Last Danceā€ episodes, both Jordan and Kerr intensely described the turn of events that led to the latter being on the receiving end of a haymaker to the eye courtesy of Jordan.

That was easily one of the most intense bits of the series, and we just can't wait for next Sunday for this.

Earlier, Jordan's former teammate with the Bulls, Will Perdue, discussed a similar incident. According to the 7-foot big man, he too was punched by Jordan during one of their practice sessions. It did not seem like too big of a deal for him though, and it was as if he just shrugged it off as a normal occurrence.

Perdue added that his was just one of many fights during practice, so it is likely that he and Steve Kerr were not the only ones who went head-to-head with Michael Jordan.

This just goes to show how hard Jordan was on his teammates, with him requiring a certain level of perfection from them. Then again, this also depicts Jordan's dark side and how his competitiveness ā€” coupled with a short fuse ā€” sometimes ends up putting him in rather violent situations.

Episodes 7 and 8 of ā€œThe Last Danceā€ will air on May 10.
