The Golden State Warriors will play the Houston Rockets on Monday night in game 2 of the first round of the NBA playoffs, but they may be without their MVP Steph Curry.

Curry was sidelined for much of game 1 in the Warriors 104-78 blowout over the Rockets due to an ankle injury sustained during the game. He is still questionable for game two and did not participate in this morning's shootaround.

If Curry is unable to play, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green are confident they can hold things down without their superstar.

Even without Curry, the Warriors are still a expected to beat the Rockets, but the loss of Curry could provide the motivation the Rockets need believe they actually have a shot. While the Warriors have been amazing this season, Curry is still their best player and will be the MVP of league for the second year in a row. It should not be taken for granted how much he means to this team and what it means for the Rockets with him out.

As far as whether or not Curry will play, most believe Steph should take the night off to avoid further injury, but only Steph knows how much Steph's ankle really hurts.

Game two begins at 7:30pm (PST).
