Oklahoma City Thunder rookie Chet Holmgren showed no mercy against the Utah Jazz in his Summer League debut, particularly to forward Vic Law.

Holmgren exploded in the contest, scoring 23 points on top of seven rebounds, four assists and six blocks. He was sensational throughout, showing his versatility on both ends of the floor.

The no. 2 pick of the 2022 NBA Draft surely had a lot of victims on Tuesday night, but Law took the brunt of the Holmgren night. Aside from getting blocked emphatically by the lanky big man, the Jazz wing also suffered another embarrassment after Thunder rook pulled off a Dirk Nowitzki-like fadeaway on him.

After which, Holmgren called Law too small, basically saying the 26-year-old can't stop him.

To be fair, in the literal sense, everyone is small for Chet Holmgren. The guy stands at 7-foot-1, so a huge chunk of the NBA is small in comparison to him.

Thunder fans will certainly love the attitude from Holmgren, though. With his frame, other big men in the NBA will probably bully him on the painted area and and talk trash to get him out of his element. Unfortunately for them, Holmgren is looking more confident than ever and doesn't seem to be someone who'll let others trash-talk him.

In contrast, it seems he's looking forward to do the trash talking.

Holmgren still has a lot of work to do, and there is no doubt there'll be growing pains as he adjusts to NBA basketball. But surely, Oklahoma City fans have to be happy with what he has shown in just one game.
