With the Oklahoma City Thunder down two points to the Sixers with 6.9 seconds left in regulation and star point guard Russell Westbrook out of the game because he fouled out, Paul George showed exactly why he's a superstar and an MVP candidate.

Paul George hit a game-winning 3-pointer and was fouled by Sixers small forward Jimmy Butler in the process. George hit the free-throw as well, completing the huge four-point play.

Jimmy Butler missed a 3-pointer at the buzzer, and the Thunder defeated Philly by a final score of 117-115.

Paul George was phenomenal in this game. The All-Star swingman finished with 31 points, six rebounds and five assists while shooting 8-of-20 from the field, 4-of-9 from beyond the arc and 11-of-11 from the free-throw line.

With the win, the Thunder are now 27-18 on the season and 13-11 on the road.

The Sixers outscored OKC 36-29 in the fourth quarter. Butler stole a bad pass by Dennis Schröder and scored in transition to put Philly up by two. It looked like the Thunder were about to lose another game they should have won.

That's when Paul George saved the day and broke the hearts of Sixers fans. George is showing that the narrative he's not a clutch player is false.
