The Oklahoma City Thunder came into the season with a lot of expectations on their shoulders, as they were successful in bringing in Paul George and Carmelo Anthony to their fold, and have their own “Big 3.” However, things have not gone according to plan for them so far, as they only have an 8-11 record to show, and are looking more like a work in progress.

The Orlando Magic added to their woes to start the season, as they won against the Thunder on Wednesday, 121-108. Russell Westbrook was then seen sitting on their bench after the game, very upset with yet another defeat.

The Thunder have now lost five of their last six games, and even with the solid performances from their three stars, have continued to receive inconsistent production from their bench. Their offense often becomes stagnant as well, as they run more isolations, with less ball movement, which is easier for opposing teams to defend.

If there’s any silver lining despite their slow start, they still have 63 games left in their regular season schedule, to try and turn their fortunes around, and live up to expectations. Should they be able to do just that, it will definitely strengthen their chemistry, and become a very difficult team to beat during the playoffs, if ever they make it that far.
