Minnesota Timberwolves rookie Anthony Edwards is making a push for Rookie of the Year, but he has already won the hearts of many with his epic interviews.

Edwards was at it again on Wednesday night after his monster 42-point performance against the Memphis Grizzlies. Apparently, the rookie wants to go to Spain with his ā€œguysā€ Ricky Rubio and Juancho Hernangomez so he can learn Spanish and know what they're always talking about:

Those certainly sound like some great offseason plans. The Timberwolves have one of the worst records in the NBA this season, so they'll be done playing within the next couple of weeks. Then Anthony Edwards can go book those plane tickets and make the trek to Spain.

Of course, along with learning Spanish, Edwards will certainly use this important offseason to work on his game. The 19-year-old has made major strides on the court over the course of his rookie campaign, and the sky is the limit for this youngster. Minnesota may be just 20-46 on the season, but there have been a lot of promising flashes with a healthier roster under new head coach Chris Finch.

Edwards scored his 42 points on an extremely efficient 17-of-22 shooting on Wednesday night. He also tallied seven assists and six rebounds in a stellar all-around performance. The Timberwolves suffered a 139-135 loss to the Grizzlies thanks in large part to Ja Morant's own heroics (37 points), but Edwards showed why the franchise drafted him first overall in the 2020 NBA Draft.

The future holds plenty of tantalizing potential for Anthony Edwards, both on and off the court.
