Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards didn't hold back as he mocked the Phoenix Suns after their embarrassing downfall at the hands of the Dallas Mavericks.

Edwards called the Suns' performance a “disgrace” after Chris Paul and Co. lost by 33 points in Game 7 of the playoffs series, 123-90. Phoenix scored just 27 in the first half and trailed by as much as 46 points, unable to find an answer against the hot-handed Luka Doncic.

It was truly a disappointing end to what was an otherwise brilliant season for the Suns–one that saw them finish with a 64-18 regular season record.

Edwards, however, wasn't afraid to call out the Suns for their defeat. Midway through the third quarter of the contest, the Timberwolves star posted a video on his IG story and revealed how Phoenix talked trash to them about not making the playoffs and all that mockery, only to suffer a humiliating defeat themselves.

It's hard to blame Anthony Edwards for his rant against the Suns. After all, if they talk trash, they should be able to receive it as well.

Edwards is probably just hoping they were the ones who destroyed the Suns' playoff dreams. For now, he has no choice but let the Mavs take all the glory while he waits for his chance to get back at Phoenix in the 2022- 23 campaign.
