Model Jordyn Woods got her boyfriend, Minnesota Timberwolves big man Karl-Anthony Towns, a Mariachi band for his upcoming birthday.

Towns turns 25 on Sunday, but the Timberwolves star and Woods are celebrating early.

Karl-Anthony Towns and Jordyn Woods have been dating for a few months now. They both have experienced tragedies in their life, as Woods lost her dad at a young age and Towns lost his mother recently.

The two have been great support systems for each other and it's awesome to see the Timberwolves All-Star smiling again after losing his mom to COVID-19 earlier this year.

In 2019-20, Towns averaged 26.5 points, 10.8 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game while shooting 50.8 percent from the field, 41.2 percent from beyond the arc and 79.6 percent from the free-throw line.

The Timberwolves have the No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 draft. It's a fantastic opportunity for Minnesota's front office to draft a talented young player to pair next to Towns and point guard D'Angelo Russell.

Towns, who was the No. 1 overall pick back in 2015, has career averages of 22.7 points, 11.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists with the Timberwolves. However, he's only made the playoffs once. That was back in 2018 when Jimmy Butler was on the team.

Moving forward, Minnesota has to prove to Towns that the organization is serious about winning. Acquiring Russell from the Golden State Warriors helped since he's close friends with KAT, but the team still have a lot of work to do.
